Customized Aluminium Profile

Customized Aluminum Extruding alloys on 6000 series can be crafted to your specifications and requirements.

Alloys are modified to adjust the metal's casting properties such as increased strength, enhanced corrosion resistance, increased wear resistance and improved thermal conductivity. Modification is often made to increase the quality of manufacturing and also to reduce the price of alloy relative to standard compositions.

The Aluminum alloys can be adjusted by changing the percentages of alloying elements according to its purpose of application.

Finishing

Our extrusion processes create natural finishes ranging from mill quality for parts with hidden surfaces, to superior quality for those parts that are highly visible and require attractiveness.

In addition to straight-from-the-press finishes, we also offer scratch and buff finishes. To serve you better, we work with selective vendors to offer anodizing and painting options to meet specific aesthetic requirements of your market.

Anodising

Aluminium oxide, a protective layer forms immediately when aluminium is exposed to oxygen.

However, it is only millionths of an inch thick (0.000001 inch). Anodising is a method to thicken the natural layer of aluminium oxide, thus providing far greater protection.

Natural Anodised Finish

Anodizing is an electro-chemical process that thickens the natural oxide film on the aluminium metal surfaces that provide extreme hardness, corrosion and wear resistance.

Coloured Anodised Finish

Oxide layer formed in natural anodising is transparent. Coloured oxide layers are also achievably added. In the colouring process, inorganic metal particles are deposited electrolytically into the base of the pores. This process offers colour flexibility and technically the most advanced colour quality, adding attractiveness to its existing durability.
Powder Coating

Powder coating is a very durable and decorative finishing method.

Solid fine powder paint is thinly sprayed to the work piece by an electrostatic spray, then melted to form a film and further heated to polymerise and cure the coating.

Powder coating offers many advantages includes:

  • A wide range of texture and colours
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Less prone to chipping, marking and scratching
Tempers

Temper is the combination of mechanical or thermal treatments imparted to a metal to improve the aluminium’s strength and hardness.

Special tempers can be provided for specific applications as designated.

Standard tempers for aluminium profiles:

F – As fabricated. No thermal treatments or strain-hardening methods are used.

T4 – Solution heat-treated then naturally aged.

T5 - Cooled from an elevated temperature-shaping process then artificially aged.
